Default Were you trained? Or were you a road block?

Any distinguished lawyers here who can clarify for us exactly when a party is or isn't liable for npcs they pull onto another party? I know people here love rules!

Put this in rnf cause you know it's gonna go here anyway

You're always responsible for the mobs you pull. However offended parties must have standing to file a claim, usually means your group/raid being trained to death.

Bard trains exist in a quasi-legal grey area - you're allowed to pull off their swarms, but it's not illegal for them to zone out or die on purpose to punish you for doing so.

First, although I'm a bard I never swarm - I can't stand doing it and I think its zone disruption so I don't.

Having said that if someone has agro on a mob why do you think you can pull mobs off of him/her? Why is having agro on more than one mob different than a solo pull? If you pulled 4 mobs to a group can I pull a mob off of you because you have agro on more than 1?

Depends on how your petition quest goes. IMO I think anytime there's a dispute players should be tried just like an American Criminal trial and GMs could just randomly summon players out of the world into a jury pool waiting room and you could have in game players be real in game lawyers and pick players based on their personal biases and try to find out who is right and who is wrong.

You can pull mobs off anyone if they have more than 4. Pulling off when it's 4 or less is KSing.

Archeage had player courts and jail soccer. So much wasted potential in that game.
