Yeah, really depends on the convo.

k - can be a question, a matter of fact, or just a finishing acknowledgement.
kk - is usually a matter of mutual agreement, apparent or assumed.
ok - the broadest use.
Okay - if you're from Canada.

kk, feels much more enthusiastic

I use k, kk, okay, right, all right, okey doke, and occasionally okey dokey.

I usually see k, ok, and kk from other people.

i don't like when people say k or kk because it means they aren't putting the effort in to succeed in a competitive typing environment (CTE for short)
