Hi everyone! I used to play Everquest since the base game and played all the way through Planes of Power and then stopped. A friend of mine started playing again and I figured I'd join up with him.
So I've got everything set up, and I can log into the server and create my character. The second I finalize my character creation by hitting "finish" or whatever, I get disconnected and sent back to the login screen. Anyone have any ideas? Can't seem to get passed it... Thank you in advance! | ||

You might be making an improper combination, such as a halfling ranger.

halfling ranger will DC you without any error or warning (will let you create, but then splat). No halfling rangers on p99 :/

P2002.com allows halfling Rangers and Paladins and gnome SKs/Pallys if you are set on one of those combinations

P99 needs Dark Elf Ranger as a one day custom content addition [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] You spawn in a gypsy camp and every city hates your guts. Anyway, could be a connection problem too. Are you able to connect to other servers? If you haven't tried yet, try to log into PEQ or something. If it's not race/class selection or con, try a reinstall and re-patch, sometimes helps. Shouldn't be a client problem though... not if you can get to that point. If you could actually complete the process but not log in that would be a likely client/system problem which I find usually easily resolved by using WinEQ 2 Lite as a shell launcher. edit: oh and which client are you using? That could be another thing... You played up to PoP? I think Platnum box is the least problematic, and use to be the only client usable on any EMU. I assume though that you are using a download or your friends install disk/files.

Um, isn't Titanium the only supported client for p99?
