Default Ip Temp blocked

I can log into my account on my laptop but if i try on any other computer in the house, I get an message saying the ip is temporarily blocked, any clue why this would happen?

You are restricted to one active client per IP. If you have multiple people wanting to play under the same IP (at the same time) you need to apply for an exemption under the petition forum. Just a reminder, boxing is against the rules here on Project 1999.

ok so here is the thing with that, i have an exemption already, 2 actually, me , my son and my wife play so here is the weird thing we can all only log into our accounts on our original laptops, but the new desk top we just bought can log into any of the accounts so if my laptop dies i cant log in on my account on either of the other laptops just the desk top, and its the same for my wife and son. this strikes me as very strange and annoying when i go out and bring the wrong laptop with me.

Do you have more than 3 accounts? IP exemptions are tied to the specific accounts for which you originally requested them, not the computers or your IP address. Trying to log into non-exempted accounts will result in the message you are seeing.

thank you Ele, ya like i said thats what is weird
I can log into my account on my laptop or the desktop
My wife can log onto her account from her laptop or the desk top
but like she cant log into her account on my laptop cause she gets the ip temp block message

really doesn't make any sense that they seem to be restricted to specific computers, since its the ip that has the exemption not the computer, maybe it is something to do with my router?

Are you rapidly switching accounts/computers when trying to log in?

Are any other accounts logged in when your wife's account is brought up on your laptop?
