Default Character Log file issue

In my eqclient.ini file I set Log=TRUE but when I login to the game I have to type the /command to turn on logging every time before it starts logging to my character's Log file.

Should this not be logging automatically all the time without me having to type /log on every time I login?

Its really annoying just because I forget to turn it on a lot of the time. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Set up a macro on your action window that you can click on to turn it on, saves you typing it out every time.

Doesn't solve your issue unfortunately but it is a quick work around.

Are you making sure you run EQ as administrator? Solved logging issues for me

Check to make sure Log=FALSE isn't set somewhere in your eqclient.ini. I accidentally had an extra Log=FALSE line in mine and it would not turn on until it was removed.

Default Thanks

Thanks for the tips. I tried administrator and that didn't fix it and checked for another entry that said "Log=FALSE" and there is only one entry.

Maybe this will be an annoyance I just have to live with.
