Default Question on Necros p99

Hello all, I am currently planning on returning to P99 and was thinking of playing a necromancer this time around. My main question regarding this would be: are the old necro kite rules still in effect? (running mobs take less dmg from dot ticks). Also, do DoTs stack on this server? I seem to recall they did not.

Thanks.

See this guide if you haven't already: http://wiki.project1999.com/Sesserdr...Strategy_Guide

Mobs take less damage if they are running, but take full damage if they are feared. So fear kiting lands for full damage. Pretty sure that DoTs don't stack.

DoTs stack, as long as they are from different DoT lines. So, a darkness DoT stacks with a poison DoT and that stacks with a heat blood type DoT and after that you can still apply a poison DoT.

If you have room as a necro, strategy is usually fear kiting. If not... pet tanking at earlier levels and root rotting/undead charming later.

Until you can charm, just fear kite. Dark, fear and throw one dot and send pet. At 20% back the pet off and let the dot finish off so you dont have to eat the pet penalty.
