Tip messages are not showing

Hello everyone,

this is my first post in the forum and my first time playing Everquest ever. I followed the installation guide to the letter, means I installed Titanium, removed the files that had to be removed, let the project 1999 files overwrite everything, started the game and let it patch up.

Getting into the game is no problem, playing too, but one thing is kinda confusing me. From time to time, i.e. when speaking to NPCs, opening the spell book or anything some tip message should be displayed but the window is empty. It shows something like ctxspellbook.html and other things always beginning with ctx, below it is a button with "don't show this tip again". Is that intentional? Isn't it supposed to give you info about the game?

I already got it sorted out. It was a bad installation from my part.

there is a titanium p1999 edition made by some redfag, which shows that behaviour as well
