Default Shaman Twink Gear: No budget.

Ever since I started looking into twinking I've become fascinated with the idea. However, that was with monks. Zero idea how to twink a Shaman.

What would YOU do, if you had a ton of platinum and an urge to level a twinked out Shaman?

I thought that might be in there. Increased health regen = more health to burn with Cannibalize right?

Shamans melee decently well low levels, so I'm assuming a haste item of some sort would be in there.

Then probably maxing out wisdom, health and mana, and some resists. But I have zero idea on that equipment.

Looking forward to seeing the experts list stuff!

If you have fungi, max health/ac. Also. Roll a troll. The extra health regen = extra canni = extra mana.

I've never PLAYED a shaman, so someone else might know better on the ac v Wis argument, but it seems like the math says that most of your mana/mana regen comes from health and canni, and since a fungi troll will regen health MUCH faster than any sham can mana, it makes sense to max health over mana/wis.

Also, get a grim aura earring or some other instant click. The instant click will refresh your global cool down and let you canni faster.

Also, can inny trolls get that snare neck? Lemme research that really quick. (Won't be able to buy it but its worth knowing about when you roll)

For the first 40 or 50 levels (until epic basically) you will level faster just going all AC/HP and getting a good 2her (Granite Face Grinder) and meleeing stuff to death with Slow/Poison DoT.

Fungi Tunic and Haste item will assist with that a ton.

Some good high AC/hp items are Tattered Mantle and Dusty Rusted Vambraces. Also obviously 55 hp rings, 55 hp neck, Enshrouded Veil, Earring of Essence. Jaundiced armor has pretty high AC also.

Fungi is the number one item. You won't replace it ever.

Granite Face Grinder (or Barbarian Spiritist Hammer if you rolled barb [don't roll barb]) for weapon. There are other good melee options too, especially for pre-20 damage cap. Rune Etched Icewurm Fang comes to mind. Poison Wind Censor if you're on a budget.

FBSS / SotDB / other haste is helpful but not necessary.

Coldain Skin Gloves/Boots. Hiero cloak. JBB if non-iksar (wait to buy until you can click it). Peerless Dragonhorn Bracer. 2ac 35hp/25mana black sapphire earring or Ivy Hoop if you can equip it. Goblin Skull Earring for your global spell cooldown reset item. Enshrouded Veil or Tobrin's Mystical Eyepatch if you can afford it. Platinum Tiara. Lots of good shaman usable spears that go in range with +wis +mana. 65hp/65mana velium black sapphire necklace. 6ac 65hp rings or Platinum Skull Ring or Djarns Amethyst. Try and get the +hp/mana shoulders that drop from WW dragons, otherwise Tattered Mantle isn't a bad choice. Legs and Arms are hard slots to twink, maybe MQ velious armor?

Loving this information gentleman, thank you. If anyone else has any thoughts, feel free to chime in.

Adding all of this to a list and compiling a price tag. When my funds reach that marker, I'll be busting out the Shaman for funzies.

Currently torn between Iksar because they're my fav, or Ogre. I hear frontal stun immunity is very fun. I know how much i get stunned on my Monk, so it'd be very frustrating trying to cast through it.
