Rogue weapon progression

Hey guys started playing p99 about a week ago and started with a rogue. My weapons currently are a serrated bone dirk and a spring wood club donated by nice people. However, I'm approaching lvl 27 and will need a new weapon soon, and I'm just curious what the logical weapon progression is for a rogue. I'm extremely poor so I can't just go out and get the best stuff. Thanks!
