If you had funds to get a dragon tooth, you can go with ykehsa weapons, steel hilted flint dagger, bloodpoints, snare procing weapons, locustlure for slows, or just mage summoned swords. Don't forget the mage summoned haste mask.

Whatever you give the pet is lost, so keep that in mind.

blood points won't proc with that pet. don't think steel hilted flint daggers will either.

deadwood staves are a good bet.

You're right, brainfart. OP ignore my weapon suggestion, but do get the haste mask and try to get high level buffs on the pet.

Would imagine so with the haste mask working. Enchanters use those negative me sets on charm pets.

They are supposed to only be able to equip 1 of each slot INCLUDING wrist, rings, ears (which players have 2 slots of). However on P99 it appears pets can equip 2 of those slots.

Get a full group for max xp. Go to Unrest. Give the pet a Ghoulbane and Bloodpoint.

Have fun!

Worse advice on this subject yet. Go to trakanons teeth and pop the tooth. Give it some basic weapons and then lvl to 45~ish in one run. Anymore than 2 people in the group will make it take longer. Less than 2 will also make it suck. 2 is the sweet spot.

Overthere is another good zone with a big level range - pretty safe if you are not KoS to Outpost.
