Default Windows 10 and its creepy spying.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MAq56Vz-D5s
Or for those data constricted
http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2015...ws-10-spyware/
That link is a start to seeing how creepy windows 10 really is and how to get rid of some the the tracking.
Basically, windows 10 by default automatically checks the licenses of programs every time you open them to check for valid licenses. And this is just the start. These changes are also being pushed into windows 7/8 atm. Everyday people are digging deeper, discovering weirder, stranger, and ultimately horrifying things about Microsoft and windows 10.
Its really about time people stop submitting to Daily prostate checks.

Man, I posted a workaround for most of this junk in one of your threads weeks ago. Since then, there have been a ton more released.

We get it. Windows 10 is spyware. Dead horse is beaten.

Clearly not enough people are getting it through their heads. Especially since Microsoft continues to optimistically roll these things out with no issues.
Maybe when microsoft starts sending data to local pd's everytime they open a song they downloaded and then get a visit by sed local pd, people will care.

It's been going on for a while. They had programs similar to Stingray, Prism, and others for decades or more. This time they're just throwing caution to the wind about it. Joe Plumber and Jill Soccermom are too overworked, underpaid, and worn out to be driven to give a shit by it.

people would get behind a solution, but there are no alternatives. apple is the same and linux is too complicated for most. ubuntu is easy, but is the same deal. the people need a new OS.

Unbutu is the same deal? Really? I am serious, not being sarcastic.

A couple people I know use it and told me there isn't half the crap Microsoft OS has. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

There are some Linux alternatives to Ubuntu that aren't terrible, but none are as easy to use as Ubuntu.

For the most part, it's a matter of either living without, or living with less and accepting that whatever you put up on the web, or connect to the web, is pretty much going to be checked out by someone.

We're in a cycle of sacrificing privacy and personal freedoms in exchange for perceived security and convenience.

Going to be a long uphill battle to fix it.
