Default Mouse cursor appearance

Hi,

Problem statement: Often in crazy pulls, with lots of spell sparkles flying, I can lose sight of my mouse, it's default white appearance is camouflaged by the on screen spell sparkles. My main is an enchanter, and the ability to click and select mez targets is key to success, so losing sight of the mouse cursor can be very alarming.

I generally like the spell sparkles and don't want to turn them off. I tried to fix it by customizing my Windows mouse cursor so a nice yellow, high-vis, slightly oversized version, which works great when the cursor is outside the EQ client, but once back inside the EQ client it reverts to its default small, white appearance.

Is there any way to customize the EQ client mouse cursor appearance?

tx!

If you delete or move all the .cur files in your UI folder, then EQ will use the windows mouse cursor.

It works! Thank you!

For info, I had to rename the .cur files in both the ./uifiles/velious and ./uifiles/default directories.

Thanks again for the tip.
