Default P99 team hooking up with EQOA Revival?

https://www.facebook.com/groups/445149928880146/

this team could really use your help once your done with velious. the second installment in the everquest franchise; Everquest Online Adventures, has been a fantastic PlayStation2 MMO to the hearts of all of us, that got shut down on March 29, 2012.

to your surprise, i actually never got the chance to play the game lol. but man do i want to! never have i seen such an enchanting world, with some of the greatest world design, animations, music, ect. that SOE(daybreak) have ever accomplished so well before! (IMO of course)

we would be super honored if the P99 team can assist us in this insane quest. we already had some breakthroughs here and there, but we're still a bit far from our goal.

Please help us, love you <3

There's a little on Youtube with some new stuff popping once in a while. Really looked like an awesome couch game for back in the day, unfortunately I never owned a PS2 back then.

We have emulated the patching server, can log in, populate a custom server list, and get to the character select/create screen. Right now the work is to catalog all of the OP codes and some of the other important packet data. We are working off of only one packet capture from live. We are making progress, but it is slow because we are all working adults with families doing this as a hobby. Any advice or set of eyes to help us get into the game world itself would be much appreciated.

It is fantastic to see mews of EQOA here! Truly classic EQ needs to be preserved, and the EQOA Community feels just has passionate about their original game as EQ 1 players do!

Please keep us informed!
