Most things are working correctly.
1. I extracted in C:/Everquest 2. I'm launching the game from the "Launch Titanium" icon in that folder 3. I've patched using V. 39 4. I've deleted the Nekk forest and other files it tells you to delete 5. My host files contains: [LoginServer] Host=login.eqemulator.net:5998 6. I've created an account on the Project 1999 forums (and on that other site, eqemulator.org). 7. I've restarted my computer (and my internet connection after installing). 8. No, CapsLock isn't pressed. I boot up Everquest, it works fine. The EULA is all P99-related stuff. It's only when I go to login in that I keep getting the error "DB ERROR: INVALID PASSWORD." Now, I've tried: 1. Logging in with my Project1999 forum account 2. Logging in with my EQEmulator forum account It appears as if I need to make a separate login server account? Is this, indeed, the problem? Is it necessary to make a login server account separate from your forum account? If yes, how in the fresh hell does one make a login server account? **On my User CP page in the Project 1999 forums, the only options it gives me are: Your Control Panel Your Profile Edit Your Details Networking Contacts Settings & Options Edit Avatar Edit Email & Password Edit Options Edit Ignore List Subscribed Threads Folders Subscriptions List Subscriptions Edit Folders Miscellaneous Event Reminders Attachments ***So if I need to make the login server account from that page, as suggested in another post, it doesn't look like I can do so*** DB Error, invalid password, can't login, can't log in, eqhost.txt, connection problem, login server account, user CP, UserCP | ||
