Default New bard

I've never been a good char too much so I was wondering as a half elf bard in freeport what are some good armor quests I can do at lower lvls or npcs to kill for armor/ things to sell to pay for armor?

collect things like stacks of bone chips, orc belts, and high quality animal skins. players will buy these from you for a decent amount of money.

you should have enough pp for a few pieces of banded armor if you kill decaying skeletons for the first few levels

Making your own Leather is about as good as you are ever going to do at low levels. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Loot everything that drops, and buy some Banded. Best bang for the Buck. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

If you're on blue, someone will likely just give you armor if you keep fighting naked in EC.

If you would rather acquire it the old fashioned way, kill the undead in Nektulos forest, the ones just east of the zone line to EC. They sometimes drop rawhide armor.

Alternatively, hunt bears till you get 3 or 4 high quality bear pelts, sell them to players, and buy a set of banded

If you can amass some platinum selling bone chips and animal pelts, a full suit of banded armor is 90pp I think.

If you're on red I'm going to get my enchanter skilled up in blacksmithing soon so I'll be doing it at cost for new players.

Yep, 3 pelts will net you 90 ish Plat. Bonechips go for around 9 plat per stack too.
Keep Spider & Spiderling silks, zombie skins + You'll have a set of Banded in no time & some snazzy instrument's.
