Mojax Hikspin question (Milk for Mojax)

Hi All,

I wanted to do some faction improvement by doing the "milk for Mojax" quest.

He will do the opening dialogue after hailing him but when I give him the milk there is no response. I was trying this on a wood elf, mojax conned indifferent to him.

Doing some research I saw a patch note detail about an amiable faction being required for this quest.

Is that why I can't get any improvement? You need to be amiable for him to do the quest? Quest is the paladin message quest.

Maybe buy stacks of milk from 3-4 different vendors and see if its a particular brand he doesn't like [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

I did buy my milk from the same vendor as the player in that post

I'm not sure what's up with Mojax, but:

If you're specifically trying to raise Knights of Truth, check out Fabian's Strings instead.

If you're looking for Steel Warriors, check out Lenka's Pouch.

Both of these are + factions with no (important) negatives. Some would argue the -RoS on Fabian's strings is, but that's easily rectified by hunting in Mistmoore.

Cannot find Mojax anywhere at the moment, does he just stay despawned if killed until server reboot?

Nah, he's pretty quick actually. I've killed him, snagged the note, ran over to turn in, ran back, and he's back up.

Updating in case someone else tries to figure this out

I found Mojax respawned today, but the quest seems buggy. he does not respond to the "I am from the hall of truth" line. But when given milk he walks over the marker (not saying anything) and leaves a note on the ground.

I wanted to do the milk turn in for faction, but am not able.

I'm suspecting it's because my faction with him is not high enough to start as in my first post.
