Default Troll sk

I put my starting stats into it. I dunno if this is best or not . Just remember my old eru sk and how nice it was having it for solo but how frustrating it was not having slam. So there it is

Guessing this was a phone auto corrected post, it=INT maybe.

If I recall, str/sta are very easy to come by on SK gear. Dex doesn't really matter for an SK. So, int isn't a bad choice for solo; especially since you have solid str/sta to start as a Troll.

With clarity you won't notice your mana drop much while holding aggro. Without it though you are going to struggle with a low mana pool, particularly if you've got assholes that don't mitigate their threat (FD/evade/proc weapons). Funnily dps warriors have a habit of taunting even when they're not tanking, put them in their place [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Been thinking of making a Troll SK. Is there a decent leveling guide around? Where is good to go once I leave the swamp?

Option 1:-

Stick around!

1-5 Outside Grobb/outside Upper Guk.
6-9(?) Either inside Upper Guk at the zone line or doing alligators further along towards the South Ro zone line.
9-12 Venture a bit deeper into Upper Guk, turn right towards a watery area. Outside, head out to South Ro and see if you can take out some orcs...bonus points if you can get a friend to play with.
12-15/16 Crocs in Upper Guk (further around from that right turn you made). Outside, crocs or orcs in Oasis.
16-20 By now either group in Upper Guk, soloing will be tricky, or continue to group in Oasis.

Option 2:-

Get out of there!

Make the dangerous low level run to Neriak, get a friendly passer by to bind you inside the entrance.

1-5 Newbie log area, skellies, spiderlings, etc.
5-9 Undead trio (they pull as singles) by the EC zoneline (as you see the EC zone line, turn left and follow the wall)... if a lesser mummy spawns, shout for help and see if a passer by will kill it.
9-12 North Ro Dervish cutthroats in a group, EC loose wildlife (lionesses, giant spiders, scarabs), Nektulos halflings if you're well geared.
13-20 Oasis/Upper Guk as above.

Option 3:-

Feeling crazy? Not too bothered about your skills? Head to Kunark, from the OT outpost run (sow and invis a good idea) to FoB and bind outside Kaesora. Do to level 22 (spell level) in the pit and Kurn's Tower [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Get a kind iksar to buy your SK spells, or pre-buy them before you go.

I might be slightly off on some of the Upper Guk levels but it's a rough guide, and Kurns will get slow after 20 but I'd stick it out if you can. Don't kill any badgers and you'll have a free roam of the basement to pick off skeletons.

Started an SK last night. Got to level 2 and had enough money to start fletching (lacking spells, archery is the best way to pull) but sadly discovered that while you can buy fletching supplies in Grobb, you cannot buy a fletching kit. WTF?
Decided to try to get to Neriak, died in Oasis to a desert madman. No idea where the corpse was so i deleted the character.
Will start again later this week and now know I can get a fletching kit in the Feerrott.

Question: Can Trolls enter Oggok safely? I really hate Innothule and would rather raise my Troll amongst the Ogres.
