![]() No, there is not. The main cap applies to everyone regardless of level, race, or class.

![]() On class / racial restricted skills. Research, Poison Making, Alchemy, and Tinkering are level capped. The others aren't. Keep in mind it might suck trade skilling with a low level, low stat character.

![]() ok, So now on to another *quick* question. My blacksmithing is 175, i just raised my wis from 90 to 173 and made a bunch of fine plate gauntlets...didnt get a skill up. Does anyone know if making the ornate chain will skill me up faster? i was successful on a decent amount of gauntlets, fyi.
Ornate just takes so long to farm the ore. But if it is better its better. Anyone have any advice on Blacksmithing from 175 and on?

![]() I don't think there is a better way, blacksmithing is just plain hellish.

![]() I went from banded to fine plate without any issues on my ranger. You're at a skill level where you're gonna see it taking a long time in between skill ups and your wis / int / str could be a little higher. I remember having 165ish wisdom on my rogue doing pottery, and it was horrible compared to my 255 wis druid's tradeskills. Definitely try to get a controlling attribute to 200+ if you can.
