Skill Meditate + Spell Memorization Time?

Does anyone know the exactly formula for how Meditate effects Spell Memorization time?

I'm already aware that higher Meditate decreases the time it takes to memorize a spell. I can't seem to find any exact details anywhere or for that matter the time it takes to memorize any particular spell.

Thank you very much Whirled for trying to help me on this subject.

Things that I knew and can confirm by reading these is that spell level + meditation effects memorization time. Or spell level compared to player level + meditation effects memorization time.

I've tried digging with waybackmachine also to make sure I wasn't getting post classic information. It seems everyone just agrees upon a vague description of high med = fast memorization. *sigh*

One idea i had was to look at the emu server code in hopes for a base idea of its formula. I can't grasp heads or tails of that atm so i couldn't find anything in it.

I will admit I was surprised how fast it is to scribe spells but then I thought maybe it's just the memorizing I remember taking long and scribing had always been fast. Shrug

Might try timing mem times w diiferrent med skills and levels on different chars?
