Regarding large sewing kit

Just got me some large sewing kits to be used as bags for my toon. However when I open the sewing kit, it shows the tailoring window (and a message along the line of 'This function is not available blah blah) and I gotta click on the 'experiment' button in order to access what's inside the sewing kit.
This is very troublesome, is there any way I may bypass the tailoring window and just access the sewing kit?

Click on the "Open with Ctrl - R-Click" button above the "Close" button.

I set in options open all/close all bags...personally I use shift+b to open. So it automaticvally goes to the experiment window that way

when did the 10 slot sewing kits come in to the game. or are they already nerfed i dont remember just remember having them.
