Default Dual wielding Obsidian Shards - ok threat?

Or I guess ok aggro in EQ terms? Too used to WoW terms!!

I'm a 26 Troll Warrior and a guildy a long time ago was kind enough to part to me a couple obsidian shards. They worked before, and I have no reason to doubt they will still work pretty well, but I haven't played in a long time, and I'm coming back this weekend, so I thought I would ask.

I've got only about 150p, so I guess if there is better, I wouldn't be able to afford it. Thanks for the help though!

I'm pretty sure they are your best bet in Classic till you can get your hand on a Yak.

There are some other proc options for you (like stun whips and the no-drop weapons in SolB that always rot) but as far as generating pure agro the shards give you the proc combined with some decent speed and damage.

(stun whips are a good fallback though and can be effective as well).
