I noticed the same thing on my bard and I think it is a spell data issue; not easily fixed on an individual user basis. In other words it's broken for everyone and will probably stay that way for a long time, if not forever.

I've never had any issues with those line's particle effects. I do notice sometimes they are delayed for a few seconds from when the song lands.

There are 2 levels you hit where your spell effects change in their appearances. I think for whatever reason, these particular bard songs are almost absent in their appearance until you hit those 2 levels. (25 and 50).

That does not seem to be the case on this server/client setup. Level 1 players spells are using the high level graphics (originally in EQ, there were 3 levels of spell graphics, one increase at level 24? and one at 39? or around there). I don't know if it's a client issue or a spell data issue, but all spells show the highest level of graphics regardless.

I believe this was also the case last time I played live, indicating to me that SOE themselves borked that up.

I haven't seen any level 1's using the high level spell graphics. Because the graphics change between level 1 and level 50.
