Are you talking about the screen that shows you a list of servers, or where you put in your credentials?

Make sure you followed the install instructions to the T. delete the required files, change the host.txt to direct the launcher to the emu servers ect. make sure that EQ didnt patch from live when you first ran it

Oops, it's actually "eqhost.txt". go to your eq directory (something like program files>sony>everquest)

open the file labeled 'everquest', find eqhost.txt, open it with notepad or something like it and make sure it says

[LoginServer]
Host=login.eqemulator.net:5998

save it, and try logging in again.

You might have to mess with permissions depending on your operating system, and you might have to go into the properties (right click the eqhost file and click properties) and deselect "read-only" so that you can actually change and save it

This info is coming from the setup guide on the eq emu site here http://wiki.eqemulator.org/p?Play_Gu...etting_Started

Right. You'll need a separate install for live servers, not too big of an issue though. a lot of people do that
