Question Question about SoulFire MQ and faction

I recently looted the Glowing Sword Hilt from Xicotl in MM. I would like to MQ it to my friend who has the necessary Priests of Life faction.

Do I need to raise my faction as well? Or can I give Brother Hayle the hilt, and have him get the sword when he turns in the other 3 items without raising my own faction?

If I do have to raise faction, are the Werewolf Hunter turn ins bigger than the 2 gp turn ins in Qeynos? I'd really rather not do 2000+ turn ins to get warmly if I can avoid it.

You need to have max Priest of Life as well. Your best bet is to do the gold turn in to amiable, then fish to max.

Any idea how many fish? I saw one thread that said 2-3, but it seems like it has to be more than that.

I went from app to warmly in about 45m at the *most* doing the fish turn in. Just have someone make a level 1 toon, invite them to group. Buff them before they start killing the fish. As they kill them loot and turn in. Maybe you can make a deal with someone else who needs faction. If they help you, you help them. Or vice versa. I am sure someone would be down for that.

Edit: Gold turn in is BS, don't waste your time doing that crap.

Gold can be faster than fish if your drop rates are bad.

Protips for gold:

1. Get a ranger/Druid to Ensnare him then zone off, this will stick him in place for 15minutes.
2. If you're KoS get a wolf form
3. Turn in a large quantity of gold (3000-4000 should be safe). This will complete the quest once and leave a large quantity in his memory bank. Then from there on out turn in 1 gold, silver or copper at a time. The game considers you are multi questing the quest with yourself. You turn in 1 copper, it pulls 1 gold 9 silver 9 copper from its memory bank and it completes the quest. The main reason you want to do this is so you can hold CTRL and click once to get money on cursor and then turn it into him. Saves you time typing 2 into the quantity selector (when doing the quest 1000 times this helps).

Fish are fantastic faction. But I've gone 5-6 rounds with 0 drops on a few occasions before

Really? Could I swore I was app when I done turn ins. Maybe I used wolf form to bump it up some. Can't remember for sure. I started the gold turn in, done that for about 30-45m, didn't get any faction change, then a guildmates offered to help me with it by killing the fish
