I have the itch! New enchanter reporting in...

Hey guys!

Good to be here. I noticed that the new progression server was being released, so I read up and realized that it's not truly classic. Some old friends pointed me to Project 1999, and I thought it had the potential to be fun. I started an enchanter, and my friend started a cleric, and we're hooked!

I used to play on E'ci as a wizard and bard, but enchanter has always been interesting to me. I raided pretty hardcore, so I don't see myself camping VT keys, but it'll be super fun to start again. I'm cracking up that leveling is so slow. This is going to be great.

Enchanters are very powerful by the time they hit 60 and appealing to groups at all levels (particularly after breeze at 16)... if you can make it to 12 (charm level), you can make it to 60 [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Glad to hear it! I went enchanter for grouping specifically, and having a cleric friend makes it even better.

Dark elf best race. By far.

Dark Elves make alright enchanters, but the low charisma might hinder you eventually. Gear and looks make this a non-issue though, so whatever. If you want to level sometime, send Zajurai a /tell. I'm level 6 at the moment and groups are hard to come by in EC for some reason.

+cha gear is apparently cheap and easy to come by.
