![]() Alright so I'm posting this here in hope that someone can make sense of this for me.
My character's story is really important to me and I really like to immerse myself in his potential philosophies and values. With that said, I currently play a 51 DE CLR on blue. If I could have picked agnostic, I would have, but since I'm a cleric, we're forced to pick Innoruuk, the PRINCE OF HATE. HATE. So like, why would I heal someone if I hate everyone? I keep trying to come up with a clever lore explanation but I can't. Can anyone shed some perspective on potential philosophies for clerics of innoruuk? I need something to base a story for my character off, but being a healer who hates everyone just isn't clicking with me, and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't considering re-rolling as a result (its already turning me into an altoholic). It's insane, I know, but like I said this stuff is important to me. Thanks for reading <3

![]() Firstly, you can always just roleplay worshipping a different deity. Deity only influences faction and a couple items, so whatever you roleplay determines your character's true alignment.
Also, I think I saw/met a Dark Elf cleric who healed people to prevent them from dying so they would have to live longer and suffer more. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] And our characters sure live through a lot!

![]() You are a Dark Elf, no need to explain yourself to anyone! And if they ask too many questions they will learn that the hard way....

You could even take it a step further and limit yourself to only grouping with followers of Innoruuk. That would make your life a lot harder but could be fun. If you don't want to go quite that far, you could always look at it from a selfish angle. Are your party members just pawns that you are playing to further your own agenda? If so, perhaps they are a necessary evil, & must be kept alive as a mean to an end. It's your character so you can put whatever restraints you want on them. Get creative with it. Either way, embrace the hatred!
