![]() Hi All,
Installed Titanium, am able to create a character (with a caveat, noted later), can log in and actually walk around, but... My player model is invisible. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] On the character creation screen no model is displayed, and when I log in it's like I'm wearing Harry Potter's Invisibility Cloak. The same goes for other players. The only indication is my player tag floating above where my character (and other characters) should be. Here's a screenshot: http://i.imgur.com/z4ybH.jpg Anybody have any ideas?

![]() Total shot in the dark here. Maybe it's Luckin models not showing up? Do mobs appear? Did you use the EQEmu patcher (with elevated permissions if EQ is in Program Files)?

![]() Thanks for the shot monkeydoc, you are probably right though I'm not sure how things happened this way.
Do you know what folder/location the Luckin character models would be stored in? I can see if there are missing files I guess. Here was my installation process: 1. Brand new, clean install, of Everquest: Titan. (Onto my data drive E:, under E:\Program Files\Sony\EverQuest) 2. Backed up the whole EverQuest directory, in case I messed up, to C:\Program Files\Sony\EverQuest. 3. Downloaded and ran Duxa's All-In-One Installer Tool from here: http://www.project1999.org/forums/sh...ad.php?t=28335 4. The first time through I chose the first option "Set Up a Fresh Install of EverQuest: Titan For Use on Proj99...' 5. When I got past log on, to the character creation screen, both no models appeared, and I also receieved the message "Your spells list is out of date". 6. Restored the clean install directory from the C:\Program Files\Sony\EverQuest directory to E:\Program Files\Sony\EverQuest (renaming the pre-existing Everquest directory to EverQuest-Borked). 7. This time I repeated step 3, but elected to just install EQEmu Launcher. 8. EQEmu launcher wouldn't launch, complaining about .NET, though I have the latest .NET installed... Decided to manually update the eqhosts.txt file. <<==This might be where some extra step is missing, though as hard as I could search I couldn't find anything.. 9. Was able to log in again, this time without the outdated spells message, but without a character model. Was able to create a character "blind" and log in. I saw other name plates walkign around, as well as my own. I'm not sure about mobs not showing up. I'm actually new to EverQuest, and don't know where to look in town. I'm willing to bet they're missing too though.

![]() I'd try again to figure out the launcher. First place I'd start is just a fresh download, fresh install of it. It applies patches as well, so there may be something missing from there. I had to run mine as administrator since my EQ install was in Program Files. My EQEmu launcher is not installed in PF.

![]() Good call monkeydoc.
I was able to get the EQLauncher working. I originally only had .NET Framework 4.0 Client & Extended installed. On a hunch, I installed .NET 3.5, and it seems to be running now. I'll update the thread if this gets me anywhere.

![]() Still no character models. (Trying on Proj99 PVP, as PVE seems to be down).
Going to do another fresh install of EQ.

![]() Nope, fresh install didn't fix the problem either.
Can the character models be downloaded from some source separately? Don't know if that counts as taboo, so forgive me if so...

![]() No idea really. Are you installing from a disk or a download? Have you tried it without the all in one installer? I'm just grasping at straws at this point. It worked just fine for me without any special installer. Just followed this: http://www.project1999.org/forums/showthread.php?t=2651

![]() I'm also having the same trouble. No player or NPC models are rendering, but the weapons NPCs hold do render.

![]() this to me sounds like a problem of too many customizations. some of which are most certiaunly outdated and should not be used - the EQLauncher for one, and Duxa all-in-one installer is another custom piece that is just another point of failure in this instance. stick to the basic install, test and see if it works, then add a custom piece, test and see if it works, rinse repeat.
