![]() Hallo all.
I cannot seem to find a use for the mem blur line. The lvl 4 mez mem blurs just fine and it is the only mez (except for AE mez) that I ever use and I'm lvl 48. Seems like lvl 4 mez is the way to go because it not only mem blurs, but it mezs the target too. Is there anything that I'm missing about mem blur? Does it do anything additional or have a higher % chance to work than the lvl 4 mez? Thanks.

![]() Level 4 Mez isn't 100% mem blur although it is pretty high, and it's not AE like some of the later mem blur spells.
It also only last 4 server ticks, so if you are trying to keep 4-5 targets locked down when your doing some dungeons in the 50s you'll probably want to upgrade to Entrance

![]() I have an itching feeling the memblur component on the level 4 mez is too good on P99, and likely unclassic.
Cause that spell is ridiculously OP for a level 4 spell with 20 mana cost. There isn't really any purpose to use memblur unless you don't want the mob mezzed or you don't want to pull aggro yourself (IE someone is kiting and you may pull aggro with a resisted mez etc.)

![]() Yeah I think it's too good here as well - the spell dat says 1% (on all the mezzes) but looking at Classic enchanter guides that seems to be way to low also.

![]() I like to keep this mem'd when Im not using lvl 4 mez, which is rare. The higher level mez spells (as I have observed) do not have the same chance to blur like the lvl 4 mez spell.
I also like to combo this spell with pacify. A pacified mob when memblur'd will simply walk away from the group weather mez'd or not (provided no one is stand on top of the mob either). Sounds neat but it's kind of niche and some what of a parlor trick but, there was a time when in group our healer died with mobs still in camp, this was an awesome tactic to use so when mez wore off the mobs just walked away, camp clear. Mem blur is great for when you don't want to mez or cant mez a mob. Say you're in Freeport at the bank minding your business and some evil race comes in and aggros the bankers, a shot of memblur at the right time can get them to forget their hate and let you back to banking.
