Default Gui / Hotkey Advice

A couple questions on setting up well for PvP, and how many hot keys people legitimately use.

For me I really only use hot keys 1,2,3 off keyboard, and 2 spells tagged to my mouse macros. How many hot keys do you good PvPers really hit from keyboard? Other than that ctrl+s, e to target next player, tab for self, and x for duck.

GUI is pretty much the basic, but 4 chat windows. I've seen from some screenshots some very different setups, just wondering how you setup yours and why.

1-6 on base bar, shift + 1-5 on second bar, ctrl + 1-4 on third bar, forward/back mouse buttons,

8 spells
2-4 abilities based on class
roughly 4 clickies
16 total hotkeys needed give or take a couple, depending on class/inventory space for clickies.

Here's a list of avialable hotkeys. Some are at the edge of the comfort zone, but use which ones are most comfortable first, then resort to others (like CTRL + 5) if necessary. Binding uncomfortable keys is still better than clicking, always. As long as you don't have to lift your hand to press it.

1-5
Shift + 1-5
QERTFGVCZB (S if you dont need to backpedal)
SHIFT + those
CTRL + all previous keys
ALT (Alt is awkward for me so I don't use it)
Mouse buttons but they may not work with EQ

You can still bind non-combat keys like inventory, reply, etc, to keys beyond reach like 0.

Have a page of macros for other people in the zone or for people who always attack you on sight, that can save time.
