Wizard looking for place to hunt

Been bouncing around OOT & Everfrost looking for another new place to hunt...anyone else have suggestions?

Level 18..

Solo.

Is 18 a bit high for West Karana bandits?

Other possibilities...

Highpass orcs? pick one off with a level 1 nuke and nuke down.

East Karana - base of Highpass ramp or around towards Gorge... wolves, griffawns, spiders, etc

Nektulos bridge guards (not Corporals/Sergeants) - if not a human/dark elf.

Najena? Not sure how much stuff solo pulls in there.

Oasis - orc highway... pick em off, nuke em down (and keep your eyes open for sand giants). There's a good spot along the orc highway wall, nearish the North Ro zoneline where not too many path by.

Upper Guk?

Stay old world as much as you can as a wizard - Kunark mobs have extra HP and aren't worth it outside of Kurn's Tower (more med time per mob).

I'd say get to 20 and hit the giant fortress in Warsilk Woods, they are excellent exp until 26ish, but some folks stay till 29ish.

As for 18-20, your main priority should be gargoyles in OOT, fantastic money and good xp until 24 actually. Whenever you get the solo loneliness kicking in, bounce to the giant fort and vice vs.

18 is a little high for WK bandits..they are green to me..i was just looking at SK maybe bird fort and then move to SP area..kill random elephants too maybe.

I checked out Warsilk Woods giants and they are red for the time being..

I am currently killing mammoth calf's in EF..blue and green decent XP..but didn't know of other places i could check out...

I tried OOT Gargoyles however they are yellow to me and I cannot take them down...i have since acquired a robe with INT to increase my mana..so i may try that again..also most times they are camped too so just looking for other options.

Oasis DW crocs or the Orc Highway till 20 if your gear is lacking. Can get groups there as well. Giants in WW at lvl 20, grouped. All day there's folks there.

I don't think my gear is lacking...however i really only have Tolapumj's Robe...this was bought after someone in EC gave me pp randomly and said good luck.

While they are not wizard-specific, there are always lots of ideas for places to hunt in the Per-Level Hunting Guide.

When I leveled, I stayed in East Karana, killing gorge hounds and griffawns. At about level 22, I was able to start killing the crag spiders in the area, and did that until about level 27.

Not sure how efficient this is compared to other zones.
