Default New/Old Player Returning

Hey all!

I have been watching P99 for some time now. I have finally decided to install and play. I have only spent an hour or so getting lost in Akanon. But I love it.

I used to play on Tribunal from '99 up until Discord. I had a rogue and druid. Met a lot of great people and shared probably my best memories in gaming there.

So far i'm very impressed with P99. And looking forward
to getting sucked back into the glory days of EQ.

I'm giving a Gnome Necro a shot. I used to only play the cutesy races, but I have since grown up.

Thanks to all of those who made this possible!

See you in game,

Fatalbus

Hi there Fatals and welcome to the sandbox! Faydwer is an excellent starting location. You should find plenty of elbow room in Steamfont and plenty of group action if interested just a few zones away in CB or even the ol' GFay Orc hill! It is actually quite possible to group into your 40s without ever leaving. Of course as a necro, you could undoubtedly make it further solo ^^ happy hunting!

Welcome! I also just joined P99 about a week ago having played in 1999 until DaoC came out. Started watching some youtube vids of players playing this and pulled the trigger to do it myself. The games nowadays are in such easy mode! It's nice to get back to a game where you have to actually work for your experience and there are consequences when you die and getting a new level is a big deal. Granted I'm starting to remember a lot of the frustrations that made me leave, haha. But now I appreciate the hardness of the game whereas back then I didn't.
