Default Quid Rilstone Spawn Mechanics

Anyone know how to get this guy to spawn. I have been told stomping all the green cons beween the pally camp and gypsies. I have also been told the wandering brown bear is the ph. I have spent perhaps 6 hours on and off here and not seen him once. Am I doing something wrong or is he just insanely rare or is the spawn cycle broken?

When you have done it what was the longest you had to camp it. Is 6 hours normal or am I just unlucky?

I camped this mob a few months back, took me 14ish hours running around killing all mobs in that area. Stick with it, he will spawn.

They changed the spawn mechanics recently, so who knows. I'm sure someone figured it out but haven't posted the info - but the threads from years ago shouldn't apply.

To be fair, it was over 3 evenings. Not 14 straight.

Used to get Quid to spawn about once per hour by killing all wanderers between Paladin camp, gypsy camp and catapult ruins. This was probably ~6 months ago.

Edit to add: I'm not 100% what the PH is, but I'm pretty sure its not a bear here but a lizardman or beetle. He'll path along the side of the plateau if he's up long enough.

It has been nerfed. It never was easy to spawn it, helped to be a Bard with a Ranger Tracking lol, but it IS harder to do it now no matter what you do. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
