Gnome Necro Spell costs

Hi, newish p99 player here - highest character is a 14 sham. I rolled a Gnome Necro on red and the level 8 spell costs shocked me. All of the spells cost 4pp and change and I could only afford the pet.

I don't think that my Sham payed that much for lvl 9 spells. Is this just how much caster spells cost, or should I go somewhere else besides Akanon to buy spells?

That sounds right.

Shamans get a lot of multi class spells. Spells are sold based on the lowest level. For example, Shamans get Light Healing at 9, which Clerics get at level 5. So you can buy it for 5-6 gold.

Rank 1 (level 1) - 1 gold
Rank 2 (level 4/5) - 5 gold
Rank 3 (level 8/9) - 4 plat

Sounds about right in my head?
