Default Medal of Honor gets the UK angry.

I've never played a medal of honor game but I still found this little controversy amusing.

*watches... thinks of how to phrase it*

... as pro-America, and "Turn the middle east into a sheet of glass" as I am... I admit, I like this. It's decent forward thinking, and for once one of the gaming companies is admitting that there is another side to everything.

Granted, it's obviously them trying to one-up Modern Warfare 2's big bruhaha about playing a terrorist in an Airport scenario in order to stir up sales, but on the flip side, as long as they don't trivialize it via the writing and gameplay, it's a definite step forward.

What a great irony, theyre happy when jingoistic games like call of duty and america's army are made, but put someone in the shoes of someone fighting against NATO troops and you get this drama.

I always wanted to see a game like counterstrike, but inverted. Like youre the guerilla in latin america in the 1970s and you have to stop state-sanctioned death squads from killing civilians. "Protect the trade union spokesperson" and shit like that lol
