Default Does Spider/Spiderling silk and bear skins still sell?

I remember them selling much better a year or so back... and I remember guides saying you could get 30p for a stack of spiderling silk and 40p for HQ bear skins. Now it seems like you're doing good to get 10p for the spiderling silk and maybe 25p for the HQ skin?

Seems like a lot less people in general are buying them too. Is it still worthwhile to collect this stuff?

Outside of selling CB belts and pads is there any efficient way for a player to make any kind of real money to deal with the high prices for even the cheapest gear on this server under lvl 25? Or should I just focus on getting above 30 for giants or something?

I was never that good at making money in EQ. Thanks for the advice, I appreciate it.

In my experience in recent weeks Spider Silk might go for 10pp, but demand isn't extremely high. Spiderling Silk is more rare and should go for 10 easily; possibly more but I've never seen 35. HQ Bear usually goes quickly for 30-35, HQ Wolf or Cat usually around 10, LQ and MQ pelts sometimes 1-2, but don't always sell quickly. There's also greater lightstones and stacks of bone chips that each go for 10.

Those things along with CB or DF Belts should get you a few hundred plat in low levels, which is enough for basic equipment, a solid weapon, and spells. A server like this that's been around so long makes low-level gear extremely cheap, while top-end stuff is extremely expensive.

Lvl 14-19 you can also try to camp the sisters in LFay for great money, but that's a popular camp - you won't likely find it open unless you play at odd hours.
