Default /anon?

I noticed that it seems to be a general practice to use /role or /anon. I am curious if this has been so since the beginning of red99. How about back in the old days on live? I didn't play much PvP at all back then but I think it was so.

Another question is whether any guilds have had a policy to never do this. If so any feedback on how bad an idea it was?

Yep, pretty much standard procedure on a PVP server.

And it's a pretty bad idea not to do it, unless you want to get a lot of attention.

I roll un-anon. Cause that's what a pvp server is for. Pvp.

Even if you're a hard as fuck PVPer rolling unanon is bad. You're either gonna get zerged or people will see you coming when you go hunting.
