Default Dying reverting my mouse scheme?

Okay so I have just dived back in to this glorious game and am having a blast.

There is just one peculiar thing that keeps happening to me. When I create a new character I can use my mouse as normal. I can right click to move the camera and scroll in and out of view with my mouse-wheel. But when I DIE it seems to go haywire. I can't use my mouse wheel to change my view and my right click to strafe the camera goes haywire too. It becomes super sensitive and goes inverted.

How do I fix this?

That sounds odd, I don't have that happen to me so I guess the first thing to see is if you change a few settings in your eqclient.ini file (open wth notepad).

Save a copy of your current one somewhere else in case changing anything makes something worse.

Then have a look down the bottom of the file, you'll see this kind of thing...

Try changing a couple of values there, or press ALT+O and play with your mouse settings on the relevant tab.

Other than that, simply... what happens if you unplug your mouse from the usb port and plug it back in? Could be a ghetto fix while looking for something more permanent.

Oh nice. Awesome info. I will try the more simple options before I mess with the game files. Ha.

I will update when I have a chance to test these out at home.
