![]() Hi. My question is this. Should knights (paladins/SKs) focus on maximizing their agility (because agi can increase ac) first before focusing on AC or should they mainly focus on ac?
Also, should warriors focus first on stamina (as it increases hp) or focus mainly on hitpoint gear? Thank you for your input.

![]() agil helps alot at the low levels when u cant carry much armor. but then, so does str.. so its up to you.
someone might rage at me saying this, but stam may be a wasted stat if you are going to have a healer around

![]() ability stats in general are largely meaningless. Agility being one of the top meaningless ones as long as its above 75 and even if its below 75 its not a huge issue. Of all the things that matter for any particular aspect of the game your ability stats are at or near the bottom. Some do make a slight difference 140dex to 255 dex will take you from 1 proc per min in your main hand to closer to 2 procs per min. In general though worry about ability points is a waste of your time and money.

![]() AC is king for tanking group content at all levels. The soft cap on worn ac varies by level though and is easier to reach at lower levels, freeing up slots for HP or STR. Beyond AC you will want to focus on HP. You can choose to focus on STA before HP, but at low levels STA does not fair well against most raw HP items.
STR is also important if you plan to solo as a knight, or if you want to contribute more in a secondary role as a war. STR does not directly contribute significantly to damage at lower levels, but it does raise your attack rating from which your accuracy is derived. It is also valuable because it allows you to carry more weight and thereby where heavier items. In summary: AC > HP > STA for all tanks at low levels AC > HP = STA ( depending on amount of sta/hp) at max level STR is situationally important for weight management and actually hitting things when you swing. And to your original question about AGI, it is less important than all of the above.

![]() For leveling, go for STR and HP gear.
Once you're high enough to tank some harder zones, start to worry about AC vs HP. Getting your warrior to 200+ stamina is pretty worthwhile, but at lower levels you gain less HP per STA, so for a while pure HP gear can be more useful. I wouldnt bother concerning yourself with AGI as a boost to AC, there is a reason you dont see anyone 50+ tanking with serp bracers. AGI is a useful by product of STR/AC and HP gear, but not something you try and have as your main focus for gearing.

![]() Have to agree with Master Roshi, HP, STR gear is key at low levels and AC is a close third. AGI is not much of a worry unless as others have said you are under that threshold. Also don't forget the hp bind wound trick of taking off the hp gear binding wound upto your max then putting the gear back on. Should get you past that pesky 50% (at lower lvls) cap just make sure you have more hps than the gear you are stripping off lol.
