http://web.archive.org/web/200106280...?Id=238&Page=2 Anyone have any insights on the Scroll of the Element? Conflicting reports about whether it ever existed. It certainly doesn't now, but did it ever? Or was it a vague reference to something else? http://web.archive.org/web/200204020...eatstone&type=

![]() So far, best explanation is that this used Spell: Elemental Shield.
Without a recipe for this, Words of the Element have no use. So, pending a better explanation, the recipe will use this spell. Since most people will buy the spell instead of research it, I don't think erring on the side of best guess is a bad approach.

![]() Damn, not a bad guess at all then.
Except I'm going to say that's probably a typo and they meant Elemental Shield. I can't see a level 44 spell being used to make a level 16 spell.

![]() The combine didn't work on live either to start with.
Remember trying all those combines out with the elemental shield scrolls (both low and high lvl one) Neither did Minor Summoning Fire, as Halas Heater wasn't in game to start with But, as Uthgaard put it, noone really cared cause they could buy the spells from vendors But at some point they fixed it. One of those fixes that noone really remember cause it didn't mean anything to most players.
