Searched and found somewhat related posts but didn't find anything very specific on this.
I installed P99 a 15" Macbook Pro Retina running Windows 8.1 Pro via Bootcamp. All drivers installed and working properly. When I run P99, no matter what in-game resolution I use, the text is garbled to the point it is basically unreadable. I have also tried adjusting the actual Windows resolution to no avail. The only thing that sort of works is changing both the Windows and in-game EQ resolution to 1366x768, but the lack of window space in EQ and massacre to the Windows UI is pretty unbearable. Any recommendations? | ||

Are you running in a window or fullscreen? Are you using a third-party program like WinEQ2?

Thanks for your response. Have only tried windowed mode so far, will see what fullscreen does. Am not running WinEQ2 or other third-party programs.

Only way I ever had it working was with native/2 resolutions
basically what you already did

After launching the client I got a random Windows message saying that compatibility options were being applied. After that, virtually all resolutions supported by the GPU display the text so it's readable. Turns out the best non-native resolution appears (to my eyes) to be 1680x1050, even though you'd think 1440x900 would be better.
