Mage - Invis with pet

I was wondering if it is possible to invis and keep your pet. I tried giving my pet see invisible and then casting invis, but he unsummons.

I thought this was possible to do, but my timeline for it might be off....

I believe the only way is to have someone cast invis on you after you start casting pet.

Why would you do this?

"Master! Master? Where are you? I can't see you... Master, please..."

And then they die of pure despair and loneliness. They literally cannot live without you being there to comfort and validate them, so they die of their broken heart...
