Game is crashing instruction error

I have been playing a few days and everything was fine. I crashed while playing and got the error for awhile when playing that there is a character in the game. I waited it out and am receiving and error similar to but not exactly this below (from the read me 1st post)

1. Help! When I try to run eq, at some point before entering the game, I get an error that looks something like this:The instruction at 0x029110ce referenced memory at 0xfffffffc. The memory could not be read


My error is similar but it's the following:


The instruction at 0x02f21c6b referenced memory at 0x00000018. The memory could not be read.

Now do I follow the same solution or do I do something different? I am very worried that I died in game and my corpse is going to rot. Can someone please help?

I got it to work by setting the default reso to 800 x 600
