Hello!

I've been searching for the materials for Hungry Earth for awhile now. I need Words of Materials and Words of Spirit. From what i can tell there isn't a specific place for them to drop, just off of random mobs. Does anyone know if they can even drop in Kurn's Tower? I've been spending most of my time in there and I could REALLY use a undead root for that place.

Any advice on where to get this spell would be very much appreciated! Do people sell low level spells? I've seen higher level necro spells for sale but I can't remember ever seeing spells under ~30.

The Burynais outside in the pit drop a lot of words, might have luck down there.

Check all the vendors too, both inside Cabilis and out, someone may have sold a copy to a merchant. I've found 85% of the words I've ever used on vendors.

Also words are typically dropped off of mobs equal to the spell you're trying to research for.

In this case it's probably off the stuff near the bottom of kurns

There are four great places to find words of materials and spirit for that spell. Felwithe / Kelethin / Kaladim merchants in Faydwer, East Karana merchants down by the shore area, Oasis / South Ro merchants, and Cabilis / Field of Bone merchants.

It's a bit of legwork but you can cheat and make level 1 alts to scout some of the areas out. You WILL find the words. They're extremely common from the level 14-20 monster range of the associated zones.

It's a super great spell too. Cheap as hell and superb with charming.

Edit - if you do end up picking up the words in Faydwer, it's a pro tip that the necros killing Felwithe guards will nearly always do a book combine for you if you have the book and words. Use Invis to do some banking around the wall corner for extra convenience.
