Default Healing hp/mana cost vs. Shm wiki page

Quick question on which of these is correct, for my napkin math theory crafting work sessions

from the main part of the Shaman wiki page:
A Shaman can convert Mana to HP using various Healing spells; the theoretical best high-bandwidth hp:mana conversion ratio being 6.0 (Torpor):

Greater Healing (LVL 29): consume 115 Mana, gain up to 350 hp (conversion ratio is 3.04 hp:mana)
Superior Healing (LVL 51): consume 185 Mana, gain 600 hp (conversion ratio is 3.24 hp:mana)

or the page for each spell:
Greater Healing = Increase Hitpoints by 288 (L24) to 300 (L30) for 150 mana
Superior Healing = Increase Hitpoints by 565 (L34) to 583 (L40) for 250 mana

Cheers~

I may have just answered my own questions as I just checked Lucy and it shows the mana cost on both being lowered and healing increased in 2005.

Was the bit from the main shaman page copied from a non classic guide?

The spell page is the accurate information. Actually, for shamans it's even worse, because as non-clerics they incur a 10% penalty on the amount healed by those spells. So instead of healing for 300, Greater Healing heals for 270.

Essentially, it's not worth it to heal yourself and then cannibalize. It is worth it to cast a regeneration spell on yourself and then cannibalize.

/mindblown

Seriously never knew about this, I even had a mid 40's shaman alt on live in the PoP era, was this changed at some point?

The healing penalty for non-clerics was removed during the Luclin era if I recall correctly. It was definitely gone by mid Planes of Power. More accurately you could just think of it as a healing bonus for Clerics (since their spells are the only spells which are different from everyone else's) that's coded in a backwards manner. As a Shaman, you won't be healing yourself to cannibalize with until you get Torpor.
