I've always found MGS to be a bit overrated, just like my opinion man, that said though, I feel Kojima is the shining star in development over anyone else in the entire industry. I'm glad his company is still making billions.

MG1 nes - lightyears ahead of its time! remarkable they were able to put that on the cartredge back then!

MGS on ps1 - basically everything in this but the cut scenes was in the NES version, but it was packed into a well mimicked Michael Bay style cinematic game. Once again, a very awesome game for its time!

I hated everything since then, this one I am going to try tho!

MGS was good, pretty fucking innovative for it's time (psycho-mantis fucking with your memory card, remember that shit?!)
MGS2 was meh cause raiden was a pussy lamer then
MGS3 was cool cause big boss is cool and that chick was hot and killing the boss was cool
MGS4 was an interactive movie but dat ending, and raiden no longer was a pussy lamer
MGS5 looks okay, I like big boss so we'll see where it goes

how about looking on the back of the jewel case for the radio code to talk to the guy on his ham radio that will give you the secret info you need to hax the computer!

If you like MGS you should tots download an emulator and play the NES one.

when I was a kid I played the nes one, myself and all my friends did not have the brain capability to understand what the hell stealth gameplay meant or how to not just Mario jump through it... totally ahead of its time, you'll be amazed at how much stuff you loved from MGS that is in the nes one, from all the way back to 1987!!!

Also look at this sweet box art thats totally just a rip from the Terminator movie.

The whole franchise is a collection of references from scifi/military pop culture at the time. Snake Plisskin much?

haha yea, snake.. SNAKE... SNAAAAAAAAKEEEEEE!

those that have died playing MGS1 will know what I'm talkin' about [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

a friend of mine at work was saying that he liked the MSG franchise cus its like modern ninjas.. like they have all this stupid tech that is like, uh what? when you play it as a westerner.. but if you just explain it away as, 'eh its ninja magic' then you can swallow the pill and respect it.

Much of his stuff is a little too wacky for me, but still, the ninja magic aspect is cool imo!
