New Rogue
Just checking in to say Hi all! I just started playing Project 1999. I re-created my original EQ character Half Elf Rogue! I look forward to meeting a lot of you and hopefully grouping up with those who are also leveling! I had a clearout of my spare rogue gear a couple of months back but there's some good cheap rogue starter weapons in the EC tunnel if you have the patience, and check the rogue page on the wiki. In essence you want to work your STR to 255 before you do anything else. STR boots your attack rating, which is good for us and keeps our dps at its highest [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] Contrary to the old myths, DEX doesn't help us at all (just for procs on weapons, and we don't want to be drawing aggro most of the time!) [You must be logged in to view images. Yea I put 20 into STR and 10 into STA when I made him. Working out pretty well so far. Been farming bone chips and other mats/reagents to sell in EC so I can get some ok weapons and banded armor to upgrade my cloth armor [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
