Just turned in Iksar Scale to Spirit Sentinel in Emerald Jungle and I had Truespirit faction maxed. He did not hand me my epic nor did he give any dialogue at all, just ate the scale.

Did you go to the one in the lake?

No I didnt, thought it was the same spirit sentinel that gives out the quests.
Seems like losing it was my own fault, but I'd still like the scale to be returned to me.

Once Rak'Ashiir is dead, loot the Iksar Scale. Head to the Spirit Sentinel under the pond in the Emerald Jungle (at location +3685, -640).

Stop trying to skip the actual quest, or at least do some research first.
There are two spirit sentinels ...

Happened to me. No response to petitions; I had to repeat that part of the quest... own fault. /shrug could be worse - not the most difficult part to repeat.
