Default One more new player!

I played a lot of Everquest back in the olden days (in the actual 1990s) and had a blast, I have played some MMOs since and while I've liked many (yes, including WoW) none have quite had the same draw as the original.

I tried EQ when it went free at it's ten year mark but didn't like the updates, I'm glad to see something like this exists.

Still deciding what character to make; I played an Enchanter way up a while back and it's tempting to go to that class but I've 'been there', was thinking about either a shaman or shadowknight, but we'll see.

Talked my brother into playing too.

shaman would be an easier transition until you can gather some coin for a shadowknight

Looks like the EQ community is still as awesome as I remember it; I remember when there used to be races from the Barbarian city to the Wood Elf one (Sorry it's been a while and the names escape me), and hiding my gear in the tunnel near Freeport to give it to alts.

Good times.
