lost item description on mouse pointer

When I mouse over or click and hold on buffs or items nothing happens. This has happened on all chars and accounts so it seems to be a laptop related issue maybe. Anyone have this problem before?

When this happens, I restart my computer and it solves the problem. Not sure if it will work for you

Restarting PC will fix it.

when I move my cursor over items or buffs, no description or timer shown. restarted many times. all toons.

recently had this happen- restarting computer did not correct the issue. any other ideas?

You might just have one of your keys stuck, try pressing all of your modifying keys (shift, ctrl, alt, etc) twice.
