sound volume

whenever i am in lavastorm it is like a race whether i can make the run from the druid rings to solA/B before the thunder sound plays. since it is way too loud i try to avoid it. unfortunately, i have not found a way to fix this.

A) is there a key bind to mute sound
B) is there a way to delete the sound/ change its volume by ediitng the file or something?

C) is there a way to delete/change the OPEN/CLOSE ALL BAGS sound? its way too loud as well to the point that i have to turn the volume down so much i can basically hear nothing else which kinda defies the purpose.
